Franroc, a division of Sintra Lanaudière - Laurentides is the Québec leader for laying surface treatment across Québec.

Surface treatment

The surface treatment is a coating of broken stones and bitumen emulsion. Ideal for secondary gravel roads or old floor, the ranks in rural areas, industrial areas and residential streets, especially the villages and countryside

Simple treatment

An emulsion layer and compacted aggregates

For paving protection or maintenance coat.

Double treatment

Two emulsion layers and compacted aggregates

Ideal for gravel roads.

Triple treatment

Three emulsion layers and compacted aggregates

For extra strength.

Fogseal treatment

The fog seal, or sealing coat, is a light bitumen emulsion application on a coated surface. This treatment improves the seal and fills voids and small cracks. It enhances the overall appearance of the surface.

Experience and qualifications of the contractor

The tenderer must have completed at least 25 kms of surface treatment during the last four years and will provide the names of customers, the number of kilometers run. In addition, the contractor will be certified ISO 9001 for the management and implementation of surface treatment work.
